FAQ
Can you travel to my venue?
Yes, I am happy to travel to any location across the UK and am also available for destination weddings.
How do I book?
After submitting a quote request through the enquiry form, you will receive a final quotation by email. Once the price is agreed, a booking document will be sent for confirmation. A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the date. Upon receipt of the deposit, the date is fully confirmed. Approximately one month before the event, all details such as timings and song selections will be reconfirmed. Communication is primarily conducted via email to ensure all information is clearly documented, although calls can be arranged if needed.
When is the remaining balance due?
The remaining balance is due one month before the event and should be paid via bank transfer, unless otherwise agreed in advance. You will receive a separate invoice for that, closer to the date. For bookings made within one month of the event date, the total fee is payable immediately.
Do you hold the necessary insurance and safety certifications?
Yes. I carry Public Liability Insurance of up to £10 million, and all equipment is PAT tested annually. Certificates for both can be provided upon request.
Can I choose the music and request specific songs?
Yes, absolutely. You are welcome to select your preferred playlist and request specific songs. I am fully flexible and can accommodate any musical choices, whether performed live on saxophone or played during the DJ set.
What equipment do you use?
I use a high-quality, professional setup suitable for a wide range of events. This includes a newly acquired Electro-Voice PA system for evening parties, professional dance floor lighting, and Bose battery-powered speakers for outdoor performances and more intimate events. My setup also features a professional DJ controller, a wireless microphone for saxophone performance, a mixer and effects pedal for sound processing, and a dedicated microphone for announcements. All equipment is fully PAT tested.
Are you able to perform outdoors?
Yes, outdoor performances are absolutely possible. I provide battery-powered sound systems, so access to a power supply is not required. Please note that some venues have licensing restrictions regarding amplified music outdoors, so it is advisable to confirm this with your venue in advance.
How long does the setup take?
Setup typically takes up to 40 minutes for DJ and saxophone performances, and approximately 10 minutes for saxophone-only sets.
What happens if a booking needs to be cancelled?
In the event of a client-initiated cancellation more than 30 days prior to the event date, no further balance will be due beyond the deposit already paid. For cancellations made less than 30 days before the event, the full remaining balance is payable.
In the unlikely event that DJ AndronSax is unable to perform due to unforeseen circumstances, the client will receive a full refund of all payments made, along with compensation of £100 or more, depending on the situation. Reasonable assistance will also be provided to help source a suitable replacement performer.
What if my event schedule changes after booking?
If your timings change, please inform me as early as possible. I will always aim to be flexible where I can; however, adjustments cannot be guaranteed, particularly if there are other commitments on the same day.
